56K is a big mess, so what if they now outsell 33K? The technology has proved abortive under even the best of circumstances. Where I live in Connecticut no one can get over 28.8k over standard lines and in Florida, over fiber optics, the best is 33k anyway. As for COMS LT, it has got to be recognized that trying to win the war against Cisco is less than futile for a company like COMS or BAY. That illusion has been shattered. For instance, reports now indicate that "Cisco-Powered" is working big time and Cisco is hitting on all 16 cylinders. Although I can make no ST prediction given the effect traders have on stocks like COMS, BAY, NN and ASND, I think it's fairly obvious that Cisco's performance is going to cap the others' prospects and stock prices as the eventuality plays out. How does Adobe prosper in a Microsoft world? COMS' best bet is to follow that strategy. Regards
