Though I am not sure what the earnings will tell us, one thing is for certain is that this stock does not even come close to justifying its price. But in deffense of AOL, I must say that the one thing that everyone seems to be overlooking on this thread is the HUGE potential AOL has. It is the main, most advanced, largest, fastest growing, internet service on the planet. All this mind you, in a market that has potential beyond anyones dreams and imagination! No matter which way this whole info-hiway goes, you can be assured that AOL will be right in the middle. Don't forget when computers first came onto the "personal computer scene", there was a small company called IBM that had many problems and glitches with their technology. When the 386 came out everyone thought that we were so advanced into the techno-age. 7 years and several chips later and we are still not even close to having the bugs worked out!
My point is that AOL is a key player and will continue to be, in the whole scope of the information highway! Call it the operating system of the internet if you will. The average person doesnt want to work with lets say Netscape Navigator and just a link to the internet. They want all the bells and whistles, and a very easy command center. AOL is the leader and they will make billion upon billions of dollars when the internet actually gets moving. Thats why this stock keeps taking off, not because of the MM's or the fund managers!

Thats just another way to look at this whole thing.....! Who really knows?
