For the most part I like Rand Paul's positions, but he's off on that one and I actually disagree, but even though he may believe that, it's a no win situation. For example, I think social security was a mistake, but things are the way they are and it's not going away.

Paul, not being a professional political hack, makes political mistakes. If we say we are fed up with professional politicians (and I am) then we need to be prepared to cut the non professionals some slack.
