I'd have to say the view that the decline from April top into last Friday's low is a complete impulse has a lot of appeal.

If that's the case, 1150's is a good possibility, of course. Moreover, the top of the putative Wave 4 (7 days ago) would be even higher, in the 170's - and could prove to be an "attractor".

There are other possibilities, of course.... but a violent bounce from around here to fairly high recovery levels could... work off the bearish fears and become a bull trap.
