talked to a guy today: bottom line: nobody in government could possibly do anything but open their mouths. no skill set at all. except to clean beaches and lay booms and all that, which is a no brainer anyway. its bp or no one, or whoever gets hired to replace them within the industry. either way................... you are seeing in real time, so far, every possible outcome in progress. so...........relief well drilling for a couple of months on the one hand, or magic cap on the other, which has never really been tried in such a situation...and therefore is a mere experiment. everything else is emotionalism, hyperbole, rhetoric and posturing. i agree with him as far as the last part goes. useless fluff, at least from an investment standpoint. pure noise. like listening to girly man when she's off point and getting emotional. russians are sooooooooooooooooooo sentimental. <g>
