Natural oil seeps probably put about 3K bpd into the GOM. You can see natural oil slicks on recent satellite photos. In the second photo below you can see both the BP slick and natural oil slicks off to the southwest:

From the nature of your post, I am sure you feel you are making an important point. However, for the life of me, it escapes me. Can you please clarify. TIA.
