Don't get your news from a two time Bush voter! Obama was THERE last year - Biden is going in his place this year. President Reagan missed four of eight ceremonies. President George H.W. Bush did not attend a single one. President Clinton had perfect attendance. President George W. Bush was there seven out of eight years. Obama'll mark the holiday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetary, near Chicago. National veterans service organization, AMVETS, said Obama's absence is a non-issue and credits the president for increasing the VA budget and signing legislation that benefits vets.
