"The right wingers need to educate themselves as to what are political systems and what are economic systems."

Why should they? If they did that, they'd lose one of their major weapons. Because it isn't about truth, reality or justice. It is all about power with them. And they see distorting things as their best chance at power.

"And they have to quit saying we are a Republic and not a democracy"

They will. They pushed that distinction when they were in power. That way they could deflect criticism that they weren't doing what the majority wanted. Now that they aren't in power, I expect them to switch back. Just like they suddenly discovered fiscal conservatism after trumpeting "deficits don't matter" for so many years.

Koan son, "And they have to quit saying we are a Republic and not a democracy with no understanding that that is a distinction without a difference and that for all practical purposes there is no difference."

if we were a democracy we wouldn't have had Obama's marxist healthcare rammed down our throats the people don't want it

the thesis of both is simply control of society by the people and not some authoritarian entity.

If this were true here, we wouldn't have "Obamacare"; flag burning, gay marriage and abortion would be illegal; and the borders would be shut.
