JeffCo is far more than Birmingham. It stretches a long way. and the Cahaba River runs through a southern portion and is a kajaking site among other things. If a stadium to bat a ball around in costs that much, I'm not sure the coin is too high for what they are actually trying to do with the sewer system and the amount cities and towns covered. the theft was in ways not necessarily aligned with inflated prices.

from B'ham to Warrior, which is on the north edge, is 23 miles. I dunno... I've read a lot of the articles after it started going bad, but haven't gone back and looked at the history of it or paticuliars of the plan. but America, in general, has some serious issues with sewer lines that ancient. got major cities operating on 100 year old lines. we need some major updating. one of the more boring aspects of infrastructure, but an important one.
