6.8B$, for BP cash + eq. More important than that, is their ongoing profitability. All their producing wells are going to continue producing (unlike RIG's assets, which may stop producing profits if new deepwater drilling is reduced). BP is going to make about 20B$/Y in profits going forward. If 10B$ goes to the dividend, that leaves 10B$/Y for spill costs.
