more gloom..and short term doom..
so far most SE Asian denizens can't afford most of our products..so
as more and more jobs have been exported to that area of the world..
to make fewer and fewer people richer and richer in this country(
the business executives and stock holders)..they are shooting themselves in the head,feet,knees..because they are killing their
consumer market here..ie notice the decline finally in sneaker sales?
how many can afford to buy those 100 and 150 shoes? they probably will
buy gold and diamonds and platinum with their descretionary money..
(except maybe for the Japanese)
in the 70's there were a lot less two family wage earners and I think
the middle class felt like the middle class..in the seventies how many
people owned their own cars..wish I could see the statistics about
how much cars cost versus salary now and then..also would like to see a breakdown of actual takehome wages of US citizens..if you remove the top twenty percent..
whenever I hear no inflation..I translate it to senior citizens receiving less than cost of living increases and the average worker
geting paid less and less each year..
on the positive side...gold will hopefully start to sparkle within
the year..when the market has its final blow off stage..

bobby...happier times ahead for gold bugs..and Japanese bulls..
(maybe if I lived in Oregon or Colorado I wouldn't have this perception)(walking the dogs early in the morning and seeing so many
homeless people..this time a woman in her late thirties..with dignity..people sleeping sheltered by refrigator boxes etc..yuckoooo..)
ps..althought everybody is pushing bonds as a great buy here..the
average person is facing inflation and realizes those yields just won't do it for their retirement..and I think begin to realize that
there is little downsize left in gold etc..
