Yep, couldn't agree more. So who do we trust more to beat back corporate interests, the GOP or the Dems? It's like choosing between two evils, in that they are both bought by corporations. However, when it comes to Big Oil, I know the Dems are not Big Oil's friends. They would love to see a huge tax on oil and a big bang approach to renewable energy. I also know that the GOP is in bed with Big Oil and has been for a very long time. So in this specific crisis, Big Oil continues to have no better friend than the GOP and their worst enemy continues to be Obama and the Dems. If Americans really care about this country's future as it related to Big Oil, then the choice is clear. All this blame Obama stuff is simply a very good way to distract from the culpability of BP and the GOP. If they can delay until November and the GOP sweeps to power in Congress, then BP will walk away with a slap on the wrist. That's the sorry state of affairs we're in.
