I'm just doubtful anyone in the British government is going to come to the aid of BP. 10 Downing has avoided BP like a poxy tart.

There was no assistance on offer when Gazprom refused to pay TNK-BP any of the $1 billion sales price for grabbing their Kovykta gas field.

BP may receive better treatment from within the U.S. government.

Republican John Boehner has suggested a taxpayer bail-out program for BP, similar to George W. Bush's taxpayer bail-out program for major banks.
