I'm even more boring... made final adds to JNJ, O, CINF, MCD, LEG... liked seeing all of the divvies roll in (reinvested in new shares) in the past couple of weeks. Altogether, those additions amounted to one full position in the divvy PF.

Maybe you are over trading. lol!

I last traded EROC + EROCR for ESP on the 7th. It will be next month before I build up enough cash to buy something.

Dividend investing is positively perfect for me in spring / summer and fall. I mow about seven acres, walk my dogs every day, keep the place cleaned up ( since the wife still works ), and spend hours in my 36,000 square foot garden.

Strawberry dividends were $500+ this year, more than enough to pay all expenses for my garden, including new tines for my tiller. A years worth of snap peas, and half a years worth of broccoli already in the freezer. Raspberries ( starting tomorrow ), blueberries, sweet corn and potatos to sell yet.

The best dividend is that we freeze or store enough veggies that we don't need to buy any all year. Making a little money on it is just gravy.

Not feeling the need to watch the market like a hawk = priceless.
