Thanks for the article. It's a good read and both sides need to be heard to make good decisions. Too bad I can't link to the content of the books I reference that dispute these claims but if you're interested, here are some names:

Also, I frequently listen to Dr Bill Wattenburg PhD Nuclear Physics and Professor, University of California. He does a weekend radio show out of San Francisco Saturday and Sunday nights on 810AM. He goes into great depth on all of the issues discussed in your referenced article. He is a scientist, not a journalist.

Here's some interesting food for thought. The coal fired plants we are forced to use as an alternative to nuclear power plants dump 100,000s of thousands of tons of Uranium and Thorium directly into the atmosphere for us all to breath.
