I could be pro Obama or Pro Bush on their certain positions and still be a centrist. I can be anti Obama and anti Bush on their whacky positions and still be a centrist. If I am a sycophant that either of them can do no wrong - then I am a left or right winger.

Whenever I encounter unadulterated licking of GOP ass, as I have found on this thread from folks like joseffy among others, then I feel compelled to balance out the discussion.
