what is moral or right about stealing from Peter to give to Paul. Clearly, politicians think not in terms of what is moral, but rather of what is practical. They rob Peter... because that's where the money is. And they love to have as many redistribution-dependent "Pauls" as possible - to get votes. All this ain't pretty, and ultimately, it's destructive. PS - I'm all for having a social safety net, but what we have is different... it's getting closer to downright socialism.
