Who the h*ll cares what they called Palestine, the indigenous people that lived there in 1948 were kicked out and decimated by the Israelis. People known today as Palestinians were on lands now known as Israel as well as those lands that are occupied by Israel today. So cut the bullchit, the chunk of the Promised Land was occupied by Arabs, known as Palestinians. Your bullchit detracts from the fact that the Promised Land was already occupied before the Israelis showed up in 1948. Call it what you may, but it didn't belong to Israel it belonged to someone else, that's why there's so much land grabbing by Israel since 1948, they had no land and had to take it by force, just as they are doing in E. Jerusalem today.
