but both a responses avoid THE important question: Was he a real person? If he was, did he tell the truth about who he was? there may be many images and conceptions -- but if he exists -- he isn't all those images and conceptions -- he is who he is ... Pilate asked "and what is truth?" What if all the scoffers and those eager to point out the hypocrisies of would-be followers become too busy to see truth embodied and miss ... well ... e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g those who have concluded he isn't real aren't any less susceptible to letting OTHERs do their thinking ...
