>>BP Puts Gulf Well Manager on Leave Pending U.S. Investigations<<

I ask you, is that any way to treat a company man?

I mean, imagine how loyal the guy must be to BP: willing to put the lives of everyone on the rig and the entire Gulf Coast ecosystem at risk in order to save a couple million bucks!!

You can't BUY loyalty like that (err, well, maybe you can.)

re: Vidrine overruled objections from representatives of rig owner Transocean Ltd. about how to finish the well,

It sure sounds like RIG is (more or less) off the legal hook, even before the contract stipulations that BP absorbs the costs of bad decisions. BP has painted a big bullseye on itself.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that some top BP managers need to spend some time in prison.

In the meantime a significant percentage of the productive part of the planet continues to be damaged by man's actions.
