Take away ALL the freebies to ILLEGALS. And if they want to come here, go home, register to come here, and after the LEGAL folks who are scheduled to come in, they could be at the top of the next list. We should never had the incentives for ILLEGALS in the first place, I agree with that! I also think if we need more people to come in, change the Immigration Laws to reflect a number of people to come in, with HEAVY emphasis on people who are already educated and can contribute to the country. We already have plenty of youngsters who need to be educated in a profession or a trade, without asking for more.....

I think a world with out borders is very consistent with libertarian thought. A border is the epitome of coercion. The problem is how do we get from here to there. As you point out, with our lavish welfare state benefits we are no where near where we need to be.

It works for U.S. citizens and they realize it could work for them too. I believe one of the main reasons they come is for the security the U.S. offers them and their family. I believe most of them are more than willing to work for what they get. The freebies are a bonus. And yeah..........take them away. No free education, no welfare of any kind, no driver's license, no more free medical, convict illegals of tax evasion just like we do with american citizens.
