First, science isn't something where voting counts.

Second, most of the "thousands of scientists" are simply going along with what they're told the concensus is, not making thousands of independent objective assessments.

The fact that we can see studies putting forth mutually contradictory positions - that extinction of the mammoths caused warming AND caused cooling - shows that we have an atmosphere where a lot of scientific studies are horseshit ..... but horseshit shaped to magnify any suggestion that human activity affects the climate of the earth.
