With all due respect that just isn;t true. I have been involved in politics for 50 years and held many political positions and ran for the state legislature. Disclosure, I am a hard core liberal democrat. The dems have tried over and over and over, for the elast 50 to get public financing of campaigns and they have always been blocked by the Republicans. I know that for sure.
