in truth you have the cart before the horse here. freedom is absolutely necessary to a strong economy. freedom must come first, then a good economy will naturally follow.

china is a good example to look at. as they have inched toward freedom their economy has responded. and the more freedom they allow, the stronger their economy gets.

look at the US in 1776-86 their economy wasn't that strong, but they had way,way way more freedom than we do today.
