china is a good example to look at.

Really. That is not what I read in the history books. Maybe you can correct me where I'm wrong.

The Chinese nation was weak and abused by other nations up till the cultural revolution. Then communists took over and kicked ass. There were several decades of internal turmoil but China emerged a single strong nation with a communist government firmly in control.

As I see things, China still is a communist government. They have five year plans and very definite national policies. They will probably be able to buy out the USA in a decade or two, maybe sooner. The five year plans may be a good idea, but I am not a supporter of totalitarian government.

Japan has benefited immensely from having a national policy to further it's economic aims.

The USA is dead in the water and going nowhere, as is the UK.

Our national polices seem to be to be subservient to the multinationals, who don't care to pay USA wages, and let them run amok. Check out what BP has been up to recently.

I think the USA is falling apart. I know the UK is falling apart, as I see what goes on here. People don't work here anymore because there are very few real jobs.

Meanwhile some contributors on this board think the solution is to study how some sections of USA society might have lower IQ's then others, and to redirect education funds accordingly. That looks like a divide and conquer policy to me, and all that implies. I wonder what average Chinese IQ's are? They are currently arranging that all USA funds are directed out of the country permanently.

Communism wins? I hope not. China is an good example to learn from, I would agree with that.
