1stSunRay,

I could never call him my master as that is Jesus. However, I have found many of the "postures" and meditation "exercises" of yoga useful in relaxing me, promoting calm, spinal health and giving me an opportunity to meditate on the scriptures.

I enjoyed looking around a little at the sight you posted. What I know of Yoga I have learned from books. If I sought someone to learn more but said, "Hey this isn't a religion for me, but I want to learn the postures better in order to relax and meditate on my own beliefs."
How do you think I would be received?

Do you see some of the things which yoga teaches as consistent with Jesus teachings? What do you see as the differences? I liked the short inspirational section that I read there on unconditional love, though I couldn't agree with all of it.

Regards
Barry
