So what if this one in a million event does happen. What happens on the surface is meaningless. Are you expecting a chasm 18,000 feet down into the ocean floor?

You're being way too shrill. Get educated. Relief wells are the way to control these things. Then the ensuing clean up will get 95-98% of the spill. The rest is meaningless. More spilt oil occurs naturally.
