<Later I learned he was compensated by UTEK... maybe not directly for pumping their stock, but who cares? I care. I think managing the 401k program for a company and being excited about their technology and recommending the stock doesn't bother me. If you were making money from Google AdWords and recommended the stock I wouldn't be running around screaming conflict of interest. But perhaps you have a recording of the CEO telling Bob if you want to manage the 401k then you have to recommend the stock in your newsletter.
