I didn't suggest it, so I can't give you proof of it.

I also can't give you a simpler model of the economy, because the economy is complex. That's why I described it as a Rube Goldberg contraption. You pull one 'lever' and it sets as bunch of cogs, levers and pulleys in motion. Pull another 'lever' and that sets a different combination in motion. Sometimes the result is that one combination works against the efficiency of the other combination and this then sets a third combination of cogs, levers and pulleys in motion.
