What a croc of bs.

You have no idea what impact the tax cuts had, good or bad. It could be argued that they staved off a sure depression. Also, it's laughable to suggest Obama is trying to fix things when he does the opposite of what is required. Acting like Santa Claus and running up multi-trillion dollar deficits fixes NOTHING.

He also fails to say that the bush tax cuts, which were "designed" to spur growth, culminated in the biggest economic fiasco in decades

The economy went up from the tax cuts. Then Barney Frank managed to crash the economy with his fast and loose Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac laws.

It jumped by 3.4 percent, while they enjoyed a 12 percent increase in their income.

So in rough terms they paid 28% on their extra 12% income...pretty un-progressive i should say...and it's unclear what the 28% means...fed taxes only, or total tax burden? Meanwhile what he fails to say is that the gap between rich and poor continues to grow. He also fails to say that the bush tax cuts, which were "designed" to spur growth, culminated in the biggest economic fiasco in decades, set up the debt situation to explode as we are witnessing today, and nearly brought the country to a depression...one obama is trying to fix in a cacophony of cat calls from republicans.

They are the rich. They are the most productive people in our society. They shouldn't have to pay taxes. They are too good. And they are so loving and caring of the rest of us. It makes me weep every time I think of them paying taxes.

It's all very vague by design, me thinks, because the Heritage foundation doesn't have a good story to tell for policies they have been advocating.

Heritage is a winger outfit grasping at straws.
