It looks like we are going to leave you guys in the dust bin of history. So sad......... LOL!! My idea of what constitutes a true intellectual, rather than the mindless pseudo-intellectualism of the modern day liberal, can be found in such places as the CATO Institute, Reason Foundation, etc.. The truly sad situation is that so called "progressives" are, in truth, regressives, holding on to the discredited belief that the power of the state, rather than the freedom of the individual, is the correct path to the future. The history of 20th century exposed the hideous fallacy of statism, in its varied flavors, and where embracing it inevitably leads to, for anyone with eyes open enough to see. With few exceptions, modern education, from kindergarten through graduate school, is thoroughly infused with statist beliefs and indoctrination. "Greenie" environmental extremism is just one aspect of the anti life, anti growth agenda of the statists. If there is to be a future worth living in, rather than just a "dust bin", it will be because enough people become aware of the disastrous direction in which our "dear leaders" are driving us and demand a dramatic change of course..
