Inventory restocking. What happens when the stimulus runs out this summer?

Inventory restocking ended long ago.....a least by last Fall.

How are these companies like NVLS, CSX, AA and INTC reporting good quarters and raising future guidance if all of the economic improvement is based on inventory restocking and/or the Stimulus? Does that make sense to you? It doesn't to me.

Then again, it could be that these companies are the exception and they just happened to report first, or its possible that the economy is improving and more good reports can be expected. You decide.

There's that, end of Census jobs, end of employment all along the Gulf Coast save for BP "clean up crews" who make a tiny fraction of what the offshore oil jobs did, the reset crunch in housing (and the end of the housing pork bill). I'm looking for a great Q3 for the bears!
