We're broke, not rich.

Take away the tax breaks for charity giving, trusts and we'll see who's generous.

As far as the govermemt being charitable, no one even comes close to the USA.

That's a load of crap. In case you haven't noticed, the USA is not rich. We're bankrupt. If you want the USA to keep handing money out to every poor country and charity organization out there that wants it, you need to go hit up the top 1% that have all of the USA's money.

As I said, if I were President, no one would get anything from the US, except American citizens. All charity, loans, and world cop activities would cease. I'd have our budget balanced in 4 years tops.
