A cap on liability is not totally disconnected to the idea of socializing losses, but it is not the same thing, and doesn't automatically lead to such socialization.

Ridiculous. Caping liability is about making investment risk calculable. It is as harmless to the economy as democrat controlled quasi-government entities engaging in student loans.
