I feel for those living near the GOM, and having Obama as CIC can only make matters worse. It appears BP effed it up, and they are still in charge of day-to-day operations.

Gee, ya think?! BP has stopped the problem they caused, with no apparent side effects. The gubberment, for some strange reason, wants to reopen Pandora's box. That means AT LEAST three full days of unchecked flow of oil into the GOM...IF all goes well.

The court case over costs associated with reopening the well should be broadcast on pay-per-view.
