I never said that. But perhaps my comments could have been construed that way.

The bottom line, however, is that unemployment checks have a negative effect on job creation. It's catered toward supporting the unemployed until they can find jobs that they aren't "overqualified" for. But how long will that take? And how much does it discourage people from trying other things or even taking temporary jobs?

Gotta start calling out safety net programs for what they are. People are getting tired of the bailouts, the "stimulus" nonsense, the notion that bigger government can revive a faltering economy. "Feel-good" programs don't feel good anymore.
