Nonsense my ass TJ. Google "The National Homeownership Strategy: Partners in the American Dream" and then come back and tell me that the roots for this mess don't reach all the way back there. You're the one spouting nonsense and frankly it's boring.

No, you're boring. You're working over time trying to convince me that Bush wasn't the problem. Every president calls for increasing home ownership including GW Bush. It doesn't mean the president is encouraging down low banking practices and encouraging Wall Street to come up with crummy derivatives. Bush set a tone that his administration would be long on tax cuts and short on regulation. And as his administration played out, the financial leaders in this country got more ballsy and took more risks.

Bush was the problem......and deserves all the blame getting heaped on him.

Reaper,

tejek if a troll - we need to stop feeding him, me included.

while it wasn't all bush's fault, he was definitely a MAJOR contributor - h*ll, he sued new york to prevent them from making "ability to repay" a requirement for a loan!

the problem is that the real rulers of this nation are financial oligarchs that used BOTH PARTIES to blow the bubble.

in order to conceal the fact they are the criminal culprits destroying america (as they have written and said they want to do), the media is turned loose to blame the other side, be it right or left.

the issue isn't right or left, it is big financial dictatorship, big corporation and big central government against the little individual, the little city, the little county and the little state.

the partisan banter than tejek wants only serves to protect the debt pushing traitors that control both parties when it comes to issues that are important to them (wars, debt, american bankruptcy, police state, civil rights reductions, etc...).
