this law was broken... Section 2a. Monetary Policy Objectives The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Open Market Committee shall maintain long run growth of the monetary and credit aggregates commensurate with the economy's long run potential to increase production, so as to promote effectively the goals of maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates. I understand you feel that Bernanke has violated the above provision....but as far as I know, its not a criminal act. It may be grounds for firing but I don't think you can throw him into jail. Then again, I am not an attorney so I encourage you to consult with one.
