Honey Bee.. you have eyes that see and I'd submit ears that hear. Thus you are able to comprehend the games played by the nefarious types of this world. GZ is one of the good guys in actions and words as evidenced by his many thoughtful posts, time spent and the evidence of his maturity as deals with those who are NOT as mature. Hope you have a great day.

After reading most of the recent posts, and following your personal posts based on your system....I have a rather mundane question.

Most posters here tend to lean towards the market moving higher and focusing on the coming "buy signal". And I understand the premise of your system and what it looks for...

But what about the basic economic fundamentals and human equation. Consumer confidence is weak. Trading volume is weak. Housing is abysmal. Europe has massive issues. Corporate earnings are coming in far from stellar with a few exceptions.
People I speak to in business across the country are scared to death and have yet to see any upturn of any sort...anywhere. The coming elections offer gridlock...at best. The best example for my caution is the term "jobless recovery". How in the world can you engineer any sort of sustainable recovery and not create employment? Higher taxes are already being talked about and municipal services are being cut back everywhere due to budget shortfalls. You can go on and on....

With all this going on and no solution in sight, why should the markets move higher? Are we simply trading now based on computer trading and how it's moving the S&P's daily? I don't mean to be a doom and gloomer but I do fail to see any incentive to go long this market. If anything, I sincerely believe we are setting up for some sort of black swan event which will take us back to reality.

Thank God it's almost football season.....

Just my thoughts
