Well, according to the CIA, 90% of Mexicans are either mestizo or Amerindian(*)... so, why don't you just go to the nearest barrio and ask the locals?

That's because CA, AZ, NV, CO, NM, and TX all belonged to Spain. Look up Atzalan.....Mexico's manifest destiny directed at the US:

As for Florida.....not so much......most of the Florida names are Indian names.....I think Choctaw mostly.
