Didn't they used to belong to the Native Americans?

Kind of silly for those of Spanish heritage to claim that America stole those lands from Spain without acknowledging that Spain stole those lands from the natives.

As for Florida.....not so much......most of the Florida names are Indian names.....I think Choctaw mostly.

That's what used to be mid FL, which is right now the North around Tallahassee.
South of what used to be the swamps, all Spanish.
