Hi Terry,

your "Geologically educated" opinion does not bear well with most of us I'm sure. I for one wouldn't be as sure as yourself, after all I'm significantly older and have had some of my youthful assertions wrung out of me by sustained exposure and subsequent experience.

Perhaps you should write down your current views and revisit them let's say 20 or 30 years from now. The reason I say this is that you sound very "textbookish", perhaps it's time to think beyond what is written

regards, Terence (Terry) Mitchell

Hello Terry

Thanks, to Wayn & Jim as well.

I am hardley qualified to talk, and I certainly don't have all the geological data behind me that the VP of Teck had when he made those statements, but from what I have read so far, I would tend to agree with you, VB & SVB do seem more like one another than Sudbury.

I also understand that there is a theory that Sudbury's deposit may have originated with a meteor strike which would seem to be unlikely in VB.

An interesting read though, as was Kent's post.

Regards

PS. Some posts are starting to take shots fellas, its been friendly disagreement so far, I hope we can all keep it that way.

Food for thought.

Have a good one.
