Good write-up in this week's Barron's on TER.

Forget about the insiders. What dropped TER to these levels was hardcore dumpage by the brokerages looking to lock in at least some of this year's run-up. If the Street can somehow stop hyperventilating on the chip equipment group's "Asian exposure", some more analysts like the one in Barron's will start to realize that the prospects for 1998 and beyond are startlingly bright.

The Asian meltdown is far from over. However, with $400 million in orders on the books, TER is well positioned to ride out the turbulence. Any margin pressures will be felt by the box and component makers first.
