i brought up MLK because of his PRINCIPLES he's the one that said people should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.... instead what we have now is institutionalized racism, whereby people can get taxpayer payoffs because of the color of their skin, (where's the WHITE farmer discrimination payout....after all, sherrod said it was all about poverty, not race...HAH!) and no, the settlement wasn't 'ejudicated'... unless you consider clinton's dept. of ag AGREEING to a payoff with taxpayer money a 'settlement' in the court of law sense... it was POLITICAL PAYBACK better than throwing a bomb or shooting someone? no. i don't think so... this is race pimping EXTORTION at its worst... how many billion dollar bomb throwers can you count (excluding the outlier mcveigh) in this country i'm not giving these racist thieves any quarter here... nor the spineless pols who paid them off that was OUR money that they stole all under the guise of 'farming while black' this is no different than the fcuking subprime BS that happened because of the FEAR of racial discrimination lawsuits... we created an entire subprime market to make damn sure that NO ONE was denied a loan, qualifications be damned oh btw, those 20k "other" plaintiffs equaled about the ENTIRETY of black farmers in the country at the time ... and wannabe farmers like sherrod and her husband quit excusing extortion by comparing it as a lesser evil than bomb throwing or murder... all of it is evil and wrong doing, and i'm not racist enough to excuse any of it because of the color of the perpetrator
