Grasshopper, an update on the Dell tour.

Police reported to the Denny's where a group of Dell investors were holding a cook hostage. The negotiation team discovered the demands placed on the cook. They want the Denny's renamed Delly's. The negotiations went up until the Dell investors were due to leave for what was reported as a "Dell Tour". The negotiators were not able to get cook released.

A police spokesman said what followed was a truely embarrasing event. The negotiating team provided a high speed police escort to the Dell facility. Dell security video tape showed the police, cook and Dell investors enjoying themselves. The disturbing part of this was the enjoyment that came over the police and the cook. A lipreader thought she saw the word "Bratwurst".

Without explaination, the Dell tour rammed a police blockade and was headed south. Police monitoring radio communication from the the high speed cars thought they heard sreaming or laughter, it wasn't clear. Polka music was playing in the background.

Suspecting the escapees were heading to New Braunfels the polce spokesman said " we are just glad to get them out of this town. They are someone elses problem now". When asked about the fate of their negotiation team the spokesman said " The Chief wants to have a little talk with them and explain their actions".

When the New Braunfels police were asked for comment by an Austin TV reporter, their spokeswoman said " Let me get this straight, there are carloads of people heading for town? And you call that news! Ha!Ha!Ha!

The reporter being from Cleveland, didn't know anything about the festivities in New Braunfels. Realizing the potential for a major story the camera crew and reporter were last seen buying German clothes and practicing Polka dancing.
