what happened to gtw's great marketing and service. i gave them that. if gtw doesn't even have that then they are milk toast. in the middle of the sun!

ratan, unless you don't buy from Dell or Gateway altogether. I can tell you from my own experience that their service is about the same. In fact, their low end computers' hardware is also "about the same". Not talking about Optiplex and Workstation from GW2k since that are different story. Buying mailorder is best for those who know something about computers hardware. When problem occur, just phone techsupport and ask for a part replacement and install it yourself, simple, no question. But if you don't know how to fix a computer yoruselves, you better buy a Compaq, NEC, Acer from your local retailer.

Not trying to convince people buy gateway or DELL or Compaq, just want to let Vincent know the price of the GW2k without monitor so he can dump his DX2-66 asap :o)
