I guess that's why everybody lives and works in only 9 states! It is why businesses are leaving California at an alarming rate. Even the notoriously liberal movie industry is abandoning California for locations in states and countries that have beneficial tax structures. Four of the states that you listed are ranked in the top 10 for highest population growth rates.
