I hadn't heard Obama's response:

Obama's response of "I wasn't invited"

Never passes up an opportunity to make a story about himself.

But then show me a politician that doesn't want to

"be the bride at every wedding, the corpse at every funeral, and the baby at every christening."

Alice Roosevelt

However, Obama's response of "I wasn't invited" suggests that he was offended that he wasn't invited. Otherwise he would have pointed out that no bride wants to be upstaged at her own wedding.

By saying "I wasn't invited" instead of "I don't want to be a distraction from Chelsea's big day" he made it all about him (again).

Obama has no class.

It was childish for Obama to say he wasn't invited, but what else is new?

I wonder if Web Hubbell was invited...father of the bride.
