Alan, are you going to Chelsea's wedding or don't you want to be a distraction? <By saying "I wasn't invited" instead of "I don't want to be a distraction from Chelsea's big day" he made it all about him (again). > No he didn't.

If he was invited, it would be rude to decline the invitation. In that case it would be false to say "I don't want to be a distraction."

The criticism of Obama in regard to the wedding is absurd. There's enough to complain about without making things up.

Somebody probably asked him, "Are you going?" He sensibly said "I wasn't invited." Perfectly reasonable.

Now, what about the Gulf of Mexico drilling ban? Or how about the death of lots of people in Afghanistan, not to mention the expense? Or we could discuss the type of shoes he wears if that's considered more important than, say, pending USA bankruptcy.

PS: Iran loading up with atomic bombs is probably something to think about too.
