Sure, CH4 was likely dominant. At least early in the cycle. But, where did the methane come from? A reasonable guess would be chlathrates which became unstable. And why did they become unstable? The likely cause would be rising temperatures due to increasing levels of CO2.

Chlathrates are pretty stable. Unless you warm them.

I have done my homework. You, not so much. You just try to cherry pick to support your otherwise unsupportable viewpoints.
